Hi, I'm Lindsey. I'm 19 years old, a college student, and a full-time employee. I have recently noticed that I have been having some issues with extreme fatigue. I am extremely tired and sleepy no matter how much sleep I get. At first, I blamed my schedule and told myself that I am just pushing myself too hard and that I need to slow down. As a result, I decided to take a week off of work in hopes that I could 'catch up' on my sleep. Well, here I am the next week feeling just as drained as before the break. I have always been a deep sleeper but I just thought it was normal. Now as I look back, I can't even remember how many times I have been late to work because I overslept. My husband keeps telling me that I am being irresponsible, but I swear as hard as I try I cannot wake up when I need to. I set two alarms on my alarm clock, three on my phone, and one on my husbands phone, but somehow I turn them off in my sleep and never remember it. I even have my alarm clock on the other side of the room so that I have to get up to turn it off but I still don't remember it. I frequently fall asleep while driving for extended periods of time and I can't go and see a movie anymore because I sleep through half of it. The weird thing is that I always get at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep. I don't understand why I am so tired. Only a year ago when I first started college, I could pull all-nighters and feel fine, but now I am lucky if I make it until 12. If anyone has this problem or any insight into what could be causing it, please reply. Thanks.
