Change my sleeping pill from temazepam to. Ambien
I'm taking Temasepan before as prescribed by my Doctor, and I run out of it while vacationing in other states, can I take Ambien as a replacement?

You need a new prescription to switch and a doctor needs to write (and ok that)
I would go to the local pharmacy and ask them if they have a way to get you a few Temasepans to tide you over. Its probably as simple as them making a call to your clinic.
