Epilepsy, Sleep Disorder, or something else?

Hi there,

I was wondering if any one could help me out. For the past few days or so I've been experiencing something unusual. I will be "half-awake/half-asleep" and my body will uncontrollably begin to shake. When I do experience this it's extremely painful. It's almost a tingling sensation in my head that is painful. I do experience a lot of sleeping issues, so I'm not sure if this is just another symptom of: insomnia, sleep paralysis, or hypnogognic jerk.

Not sure if this matters either, but I have been taking Lamictal and Sertaline for several years, and I know that Sertaline also treats seizures, so I don't think it's that, but don't know.

Any advice or ideas would be awesome! Thanks so much.
