Consult your doctor, diagnosis is not possible on site
Maybe lack of sleep? Or being stressed x
Hi, abnormal involuntary movements (AIMs) are also known as 'dyskinesias'. Tremor, chorea, dystonia and myoclonus are examples of types of dyskinesia which have different mechanisms and modalities of treatment. Your symptoms could be due to 'intentional tremor’. We usually encounter intention tremor in certain neurological diseases affecting the cerebellum or its connections with the brainstem and spinal cord. If these disorders are ruled out a diagnosis of 'essential familial tremor' is made which often runs in families and affects more than one member of the same family. It usually does not interfere with manual dexterity or skills such as writing. In extreme cases when it is quite severe and incapacitating, you may require drugs belonging to the class Beta blocker, such as propranolol, in doses of 20 to 40mg twice a day. Recently, it was found that the drug primidone ('mysoline') is of help in such cases. You may have to consult a nearby neurologist to rule out other conditions such as writer's cramp and to plan the best line of management for you. Regards.
