Should I get help with my sleep paralysis?

I am 15 years old and have been experiencing sleep paralysis on and off for the past year. However, recently I have been having having this more often and also had a case of exploding head syndrome(hearing an extremely loud sound when falling asleep or waking up).

My sleep pattern is getting worse because of this as I don't like sleeping. I try to stay up as long as possible so most nights I am going to sleep from 4am-6am and getting little amount of sleep, but almost every time I wake up I am unable to move only for a couple of seconds which isn't as bad as it can be because I have learnt how to control it better, but today I woke up and my methods didn't work(staying calm, taking deep breaths, wiggling toes etc) and was stuck for longer which has now made me scared to sleep more, I have not told anyone but my brother about this because I don't want to make this a big deal and I don't really open up to people much.

I don't see demons or anything that will harm me, I just can't move. I have only had once where I couldn't breath and every time I sleep on my back I experience sleep paralysis.

I'd get a consult and sleep study from a sleep doctor.

Sleep paralysis is normal.  Everyone gets it during the REM dream phase when the pons blocks signals from our brains to our bodies.  It's necessary to keep us from acting out our dreams.  Not having sleep paralysis would be more of a problem, so you're OK on that.

Even exploding head syndrome isn't considered a serious issue.  More worrisome than anything else.

Your best bet probably is to try and let go the worry.  Worry feeds this issue.  You also sound stressed out, so some stress management during the day will probably help you.

Be sure to set and keep a reasonable sleep schedule 7 days a week.  Don't allow yourself to sleep in or take naps, as that is what's stealing sleep from you at night.

Get some good exercise most every day, and avoid any sort of caffeine (including colas) after about mid-day.

You can also try some in-bed relaxation methods, those also help.  And rest assured the sleep is good, sleep helps you, sleep is your friend.  It's OK to let the worry go and let yourself sleep.  Remember that.
