Should I jut give up on the CPAP?

I have been using a CPAP for 4+ years; lately I have a problem with the air flow irritating an already inflamed nasal passages.

I am now using a chin strap and oxygen cannula instead of the CPAP when nasal irritation won't allow sleep with the CPAP running.

Should I jut give up on the CPAP?

Already using several nasal sprays, saline jelly, and humidifiers - they aren't the answer I need, but thanks for your response.

Have been to see 7 top Seattle area doctors and they don't have an answer for the problem.

Lately using Xylitol and Manuka Honey and that seems to be helping the inflamation and quelling the irritation.

Going to not use CPAP for several more weeks, putting nasal oxygen cannula in mouth whenever practical, and just be kind to my nasal passages to allow them to heal and recover from the chronic rhinosinisusitus infection I have been fighting.

Actually getting more sleep without the CPAP, by just using chin strap and nasal cannula for oxygen.

NO! I would talk with your MD about his issue, also get some nasal spray to help with the irritation.  You can also get KY jelly(water based) product to help moisten your nasal passages.
