Sleep Paralysis getting worse

I have had what i believe is called "Sleep Paralysis" for 5-7 years now. But only happening before once or twice a week, if that. But recently it's been happening 4 - 5 times a night! to the point where I'm to scared to sleep.

I wake up, can't move, I scream as loud as I can but my wife doesn't hear a thing, (Once inawhile if she is awake, or wakes up she will tell me I shake as if I'm having a sezure) and I always see a shadow like figure moving toward me and feels as if I'm being choked by it. and some times I dont see anything, I only hear what sounds like my front door opening and some one walking toward my room. This is becoming a problem for me at work because I can't sleep and I been falling asleep at work.

It may be anxiety related in some manner.  Have you dealt with anxiety earlier in your life, or even taken a med for it?
