Sleep trouble.. and apnea

I have dysatonomia and a connective tissue disorder. I am in alot of pain. I can't sleep at night till 3 a.m.. We think I have sleep apnea I did have a test to check for it but we do not know the reslults yet. I do wake up in the mornings with blue around my mouth. Does this sound like sleep apnea to you? Do you have any idea of anything I could do to help me sleep at night so I don't have to do deal with the pain when I am supposed to be sleeping?

Hi
I am actually on this forum trying to obtain info for my husband. I was interested if you meant you have dysautonomia. I have dysautonomia and I am Chris57 on the dysautonomia forum.
Hope things worked out for you with the mask etc.

If by blue around your mouth you're refering to your coloring, that could mean low oxygen (which sleep apnea can cause), as well as some cardiac conditions.

You may need to use a sleep aid while you adjust to the sleep apnea treatment. Once your cpap treatment is giving you restful sleep with no oxygen desats, you may find other pains improve also.
