Sleep walking/ hallucinations

Hi, I am a healthy 19 year old female. When i was very young i used to sleep walk, which i grew out of. Since Novemeber (when i visited India) my sleep walking has started again. It only occurs when i sleep somewhere other than home, i am not too concerned about the sleep walking, but sleep hallucinations are also occuring.
During sleep hallucinations i normally believe a small animal is loose on or around my bed. I will try to catch the animal for sevral minutes, knocking over ordamnets of my shelf or disrupting my bed. I will feel panic and 'jump' when i first see the animal. After a few min i will turn on a bedside light to locate the aniimal, at which point i completely wake up. I will then realise that what i was doing was ridicolous and that what ever scenario it was could not of happened. I am completely aware of everything that happens during the hallucination, but not in control of it until i am fully awake! I have often waken up in the morning and wondered if it actually happened, to discover knocked over ordaments, confirming it did happen.
I feel like a complete nutter. Any ideas?
Thanks Sam
