I agree with D Rajput, Nigh shift workers (5-15 years of 7PM to 7AM ) have similar symptoms...within a month or so of the active d-isomer of modafanil (Nuvigil 250mg) every AM, generally corrects the problem along with a small dose of amitriptyline 25 mg with 30mg of Restoril at bedtime for a month sometime, longer....would be my choice,
HAi ,that means u are soo much involved in the work and ur brain needs rest. Eat good brain foods, like Egg, Oats, milk ,banana.etc.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Your history is suggestive of narcolepsy. In this condition there will be excessive daytime sleepiness. In this condition there will be “automatic behavior" such as driving past a highway exit or writing off a page, with no memory of the previous few minutes. Classical narcolepsy constitutes of Hypnagogic hallucinations, Sleep paralysis and Cataplexy (emotionally triggered muscle paralysis resulting in partial or complete collapse).
You need to undergo tests like Polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Test and CSF levels of Orexin/Hypocretin which help to substantiate the diagnosis.
Having regular nap for about 20 min during day will help to prevent sleep attacks.
Drugs like Modafinil, Methylphenidate and Amphetamines against prescription can help to increase the alertness during the day and they are esp. useful in excessive daytime sleepiness or increased sleep attack.
I suggest you to go for the further tests. Take care and regards.
