why do i get pins and needles in hands and feet at night when in bed

the same happens to me...i notice it happens when i put my hand in between my pillow and lay my head on it..it happens for a few minutes after i move my hand i try licking it to make it stop and it really does not stop but it sure does lower down the feeling.

I get the same thing at night. My dr told me I just have poor blood circulation and suggested I try not to sleep on my hands or put them under my pillow at night. I've been trying really hard to retrain myself to sleep on my back with my hands down at my sides and when I do, I notice it really helps.
