sleep

i  have  a  problem  sleeping,,,,,  no  matter  what  ,,  i  do,,,    i  go  to  bed  and  my  mind  just  won;t  stope,,  any  suggestions  ????????

it might sound off but i too had that problem and i was diagnosed with adhd and put on an amphetamine medication (there are a few non amphetamine ones though) and i could actually sit threw a movie....i used to lay down and think of everything i could be getting done instead of trying to sleep, same thing with just sitting still....it sounds crazy because ampheatamines should have the opposit effect but i have a paradoxil reaction because of my adhd.

I started taking 0.25mg. Restyl( from in 1991. now I have to take 1.00mg.I get 5 to 6 hour sleep. I intend to get rid of thid dependence.How to do it?
I am feeling unexplainable sensations in my feet.Feeling of tightness as if I have put on tight shoes for hours. somtimes a fluffy feelilng on soles.This is since last 4 years. I have no diabetis, no b12 deficiency, no iron deficiency.Neurological reflexes are normal. It is not pain. It does not respond to NSAIds.
I was taking acupressure treatment ot TENS(transcutaneous electrical neural stimulation).Because slight swelling current was not passing through. to reduce swelling I took seriato peptidase, an enzyme which reduced swelling and pain as well. I am takin this drug since a month. there is no significan response. Pa thology of the problem is not known. can you suggest any drug or therapy. I have taken holistic medicine as well with yoga, exercises. Problem of drug dependance and tightness of feet and slight numness of legs are main annoying problem with ARMD, Tinitus and deafness for which I hope no cure and no treatment.Dr. vinod I know my case is hopeless.Still I try to struggle against all hopes.Please do study my case and if there are any questions please ask.

Try doing physical exercise. Cardio everyday will keep you in pink of health and would also make you tired and asleep.
Please take balanced diet and avoid alcohol and smoking.
For disturbed sleep you have to do lot of life style changes:
Viz No alcohol, No smoking and No stress.
Try to achieve these and let us know about your sleep problem.
