What is small disc osteophyte complex c5-c6 and if there a nonsurgical cure?

I had a CT scan of the soft tissue in neck and the report mentioned small disc osteophyte complex at c5-c6 that may create mild spinal stenosis (what does this mean?). I have a lump on my shoulder close to my neck, that has developed and I don't know if it is related to the finding. The lump itself isn't painful but sometimes there is a bit discomfort (maybe heaviness or throbbing). Before the lump I had heavines of arm and discomfort in shoulder and upper back shoulder same side of the lump. (I don't know if these symptoms are related to the findings).
