I am super stressed after losing a basketball tournament.

So basically I play basketball and we had a tournament and my team lost our game and we only got 3rd place. Ever since that I feel like I could have done more and I’m very stressed that my season over and I could not help my team more. I am not depressed but really upset. Mostley that our season is over.

Hey there.  Sorry about the tournament.  That is the life of sports though.  What you have to focus on is knowing you left nothing on the table.  You gave it your all.  If you set some process goals for yourself (these are say the top three things that you NEED to do in a game) and you've achieved them, you then know you did all you personally could for the game.  Sports can come with a lot of pressure.  Not just on you but on every player on your team and your opponents.  Mental toughness is a great skill and that means that even when things aren't going your way, you see your value in your effort.  Focus on how you play and trying to do your best and not the end result so much.  And know that every one can have an off day and they could also be playing someone that is having their best day.  Pat yourself on the back for the effort you made and that you got as far as you did!
