Recovery from paralysis

My mother had a severe stroke due to blood clot in blood of vessel brain,at age 40 leaving her paralyzed on her left side.The stroke also affected her site on left side.after stroke we rich hospital in 1 hour. doctor give her one injection but unfortunately its not worked,and after one day her right side  some part of brain get damaged due to injection (in CT scan report its showing block spot) Damaged part get swelled, but she can able to speak normally and she identify everything normally and   2nd day after stroke doctor decide to do surgery of damaged right brain for make space for swelling out, so right side of skull cover(bone) removed and preserved  in stomach. After surgery she speak and identify everything as usual but same behavior gets changed. After 15 days they gave discharge to us from hospital. After 45 days she can move her left leg not proper but she can pull it but not push but still not movement in left hand and left back side also. I just want to know how much time to get recover and she can be normal in future means she can do her daily work herself like walking,eating,bathing,etc?

Should Botox treatment Helpful for Stroke patient? my mother surviving from Stroke (Left side is not working Properly) doctor suggest we should move for  Botox treatment.Please anybody share there experience on this treatment.
