Did anyone receive intensive care treatment after a stroke in the Thalamus

Hello, I’m just wondering if anyone spent any time on the the intensive care unit? I found my partner 7 days ago after hearing a bang in the bathroom I had to break in and he was convulsing struggling to breathe. Luckly we live 5 mins away from a major trauma centre. He is still on a ventilator obaying to some commands such as wiggle toes and I was told that he opened and closed his left eye yesterday. His pupils are fixed and dilated. I guess I hope someone has been through this and come through. He is only 30 very fit and healthy and I’m orating for a miracle. He has his MRI planned for today and I guess we will know more after. Not one person has given us any positive news yet.
