Queries about medication

Hello All,

I don't know how I came across your site but I would appreciate some help with my stroke problems. I had it on Boxing Day (2021) was in hospital for four months and live alone. I have recently decided to stop my Tramadol and things are a lot clearer now. I get carers three times a day and I am unable to get out of the house, I am unable to walk without sticks. I am now able to use my PC again and even though things are slow I can get  around the key board. I want to know if the Tramadol was issued for the leg pain and left arm stiffness and pain, up till now the pain is tolerable, I prefer having a clear head to the pain, in fact writing this is a step forward for me. I also was told before the stroke I have dementia and whilst I admit I am not as alert as I was ten years ago I could manage. Sorry to drone on, am I pushing it stopping Tramadol. Thanks anyone.
