Stroke and dry eyes

It has been seven months since my ischemic stroke. My balance has significantly improved however my right eye is always in pain. My eye doctor has diagnosed me with Dry Eyes. I am two months into Restasis with uncertain results. My question is has anyone done the ILP procedure? Intense Pulsed Light. Does it work? Effective in producing tears?

Hello and welcome to the forum. We're sorry about your stroke and hope you are recovering otherwise. Thanks for your question related to dry eyes. These can be so painful. The following link has information in ILP or Intense Pulsed Light therapy for dry eye. https://www.optometrists.org/general-practice-optometry/guide-to-eye-conditions/dry-eye/conjunctivitis-and-eye-infections/dry-eyes-what-is-intense-pulsed-light-therapy/  It does appear to historically be quite effective.
