When your feeling sad, the best thing you can do is just get out and away from the city and go somewhere nice and peaceful. If you have a beautiful place where you can visit and admire the animals, trees, fish, the sky and all the beautiful things this earth has to offer, it will help.

I get stressed all the time, so I just drive my car and look for a place where I can just feel at peace. It reminds me of why it is so wonderful to be alive. Sometimes it is good to donate some of your time to different charities and help others who are in much more need than we are.

You may want to consider seeing a therapist and talk about your problems too, your feel a lot better getting all this stuff out of you.

Sounds exciting and very noble.  I'm thinking of looking at doing psychology too (or maybe something in the health field -nursing, paramedic, not sure).  I need to spend some more time on myself first.  I'm probably not well enough to be studying at this time.

The crisis counselling sounds interesting.  I always find that quite a compelling field.  I expect you have a lot of personal experience to draw on as well.  That will be extremely useful later.  You can draw on your negative experiences and use them as strengths.

Have you figured out all the subjects and courses you need to be doing/ looking at doing?  Given your placement situation you probably couldn't spend time at a crisis hot-line place, etc could you?

Keep focusing on your dreams and maybe even reevaluate them occasionally.
If you are having a difficult time you could perhaps look at how it may serve you for the future.  These experiences will be teaching you valuable life lessons and skills.

We can make lemonade out of lemons if we try and persevere.

Good luck with your life goals.

Talking is often the best remedy.  T's are usually the best but sometimes not always.
Can you join some school sport or cultural group?  Something that interests you.  Sport?  Music?  Drama?  Being around others could help you out of the funk you are in and help you feel connected to other people.
It sounds like you have heaps of potential.  Have you thought about what you want to do when you leave school?

Keep talking about it with your therapist.  As long as it is bothering you it needs to be discussed.
Just a thought, but have you got time to volunteer for some organization, etc.  Sometimes getting out and doing stuff helps us to feel better and helps to put things in perspective.

I find the doctor on the mental health expert forum really good.  If you have a specific question you would like answered he would be the best person to ask.  In my opinion anyway.

It's OK to feel sick and tired of everything.  Gee, I do.  I think the important thing to remember is that these are just feelings and will pass.
I'm sorry about your family situation.  That must be extremely painful.
I can easily say that you matter.  Everyone affects someone else in some small way.  You are important and your life does matter.

It almost sounds as though you need a pet.  They love unconditionally.

Have you tried discussing how you feel with your therapist?

Take care!

I think it feels real.
I have at times felt a sense of peace, etc but I don't think that in anyway gives you permission to end your life.

I will write again when I can and have time.

Take care.

p.s. If you feel this way you should speak to a doctor and access psychotherapy.

I do know how you feel believe me but also believe me when i say its not time to go, its not real, life is for living. Do you know why you feel the way you do as something happened to make you feel like this? I get really depressed and i hate my life at times and i have attempted suicide twice and now i battle all the time with suicidal thoughts but i keep going in the hope that it will get better. You have your whole life ahead of you, you are so young, try and find something that makes you happy, talk to someone you trust tell them how you feel, have you told your family how you feel or your doctor?
Good luck and you can always come to this site to talk to someone.
