DID WE MISS THE BOAT???

Hi there,
I am getting daily blood work with my fertility specialist from CD 9 through to the day after I ovulate (usually CD 15).
We always BD almost every day starting CD 8 through to 3 days after my LH surge.
HOWEVER, this time was different :(   My blood work should I had my LH surge yesterday morning (I always find out the results the day after my blood work when I go in for the next day's blood work).  Well, we did not BD last night - DARNIT!!!  We BD all the days before and we will BD tonight and onward.  But we missed BD'ing the night of my LH surge.  I'm kicking myself but I just was not feeling well (had a migraine).
I'm just looking for opinions on if we missed the boat :( :(

Everything I have read says that ovulation usually takes place between 12-48 hours AFTER your LH surge, and the average is 24-36 hours...I wouldn't worry about it too much. Are you temping? It's very helpful to take your temps, that way you can usually see when ovulation in fact took place by the rise in temp.

I am SO VERY SORRY about your miscarraige.  When you finally see that BFP, it almost feels like a miracle and then to have that taken away - I'm truly sorry.  But (and I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times and not that it makes it any easier) ..but...it means you ARE able to get pregnant again!!  Keep your chin up hun and it WILL happen for you!!
KEEP THE FAITH!!  Will you be trying this cycle?  Where are you in your cycle?

I know. It gets to be so consuming. Since my miscarriage, I've kind of enjoyed not obsessing every month about Oing and BDing.... I'm ready to start TTC again now though. I hope this is your month!

thank you for your reply.  At my age every cycle is so darn precious!  I'm just obsessing about it :(  This cycle especially since my estrogen level was 3,000 right before my LH surge.  That's crazy high!

You may not have missed it. Doctors even suggest every other day alot. They say sperm can live for up to 48 hours, so you may still be ok. Good luck.
