Help I'm going crazy I'm 14 and haven't had my period

Hello I'm 14 and I'm in the 8th grade I'm kind of having anxiety so I really didn't want to talk to my mom about this but I haven't had my period And I told my mom I did and I've been keeping this secret for so long I'm getting scared what do I do and if what if I never get my period someone please help me

Sweetie, once it starts you will not be so thrilled to have it.  :>O  Periods aren't that much fun.  I know they signify growing up but there is no hurry for that and especially the kind of growing up that requires tampons and leaks into pants while out with friends, and cramps and bloating and mood swings.  It's really not all that great.  It WILL happen though and you'll know what I mean once the novelty wears off.  Plus, this means you are still growing and may be taller which is awesome!  Early puberty is common now.  But you aren't really that old.  so, just try to be patient.  good luck
