im depressed and idk

i only just recently realised that i'm probably depressed. im fourteen and its not like im unpopular or anything since im really sociable and have friends. but lately, since september, my grades have been slipping. before i was an a* student but i've moved down sets in english and science. and my parents really want me to do good so i dont want to disappoint them but i'm just not making the progress i need to make. we did our end of years and i did **** in them so theres little chance i can improve in science and english from here on out. and basically idk what to do? like i dont want to disappoint my parents but i feel like im already a failure. ik for me to improve im going to have to try much harder next year but i dont think i can. literally i feel to give up. idk what im asking for atm but i just needed to let this all out.

It's a normal and common thing that you feel depressed and it almost happen to every teenagers. You will get better later on but you have to wait many years. To talk about it is already a good thing, you did well

First of all, I think it's important to say that your grades cannot measure your worth.  Keep telling yourself that you can do it.  Whenever you hear that negative voice in your head telling you that you're a failure and you can't do it, realize that it may just be the depression talking and you're not a failure, you can do it.  Don't be afraid to reach out to your teachers or your friends to see if they can help you understand the material.  And if you fail a test or something, don't beat yourself up about it.  Just use that as a cue to see what you need to work on.  Good luck.  :)
