Am I pregnant, or is it just a bug?

Ok, nearly 3 weeks ago I had sex and since then i've felt a little funny. My temp, which is normally 97 has been 98.7-99.5, My stomach has been cramping for the past 2 weeks like i'm going to start my period, which I found to be a little odd, I am slightly queasy. I have also had freaquent headaches and been more sleepy than normal. Do you think I could be pregnant or should I just say its a bug? and if you think i could be pregnant whens the best time to take a home pregnancy test?

Your body temperature will increase after ovulation.  So it does go up until you get your period.  If you're pregnant the temperature stays high.  Don't be surprised to see your temps rise until your period does show up though.

Thanks for all the advice, It was greatly appriciated and Im going to take a test as soon as I can. I was just afraid i would take it too early and it would show up negative and I would assume i was just sick and wait it out.

if you had sex 3 weeks ago, then you would get a fairly accurate result now.....you need to take a test and as the other ladies said, if you're temp is higher than usual, it could indicate an infection.....also, it may not be a bug, but other illnesses do have nausea/vomiting, as well as other symptoms.....you can wait a couple more days, or take a test now....if it comes back negative, i'd see a dr and also ensure it is not something to do with something more complex or serious.....good luck

it does, unless shes not pregnant. with no pregnancy it could mean infection so she may need to go to the doc

i though your body temp is supposed to be slighly higher if your pregnant. maybe that was a myth though

either/or. you will really just have to wait till expected period and take home pregnancy test. However, MOST stomach bugs do not last for weeks, but if it is an intestinal problem then I would assume its a bug. Normally stomach viruses last only for 24 hours, not days.. in any case keep yourself hydrated and see if it helps any. Also, if you are not pregnant, a fever indicates infection, I would go to the doctor.
