Can she be pregnant?

My girlfriend and I were messing around the other night. I was on top of her with no clothes on and she had underwear and pajama pants on. I was "humping" her (rubbing my penis on her genital area.) We were only doing it for about a minute. There may have been some precum but it wouldve been very little of it. Can she be pregnant? As I said it was for only about a minute, it was only precum, and she is on birth control. She is scared that she could be pregnant. Can she be pregnant from this situation??

Yeah, I've heard that, and I've also read and heard that herpes outbreaks usually happen when the person is extremely ill.  I don't know how true that is, but I read it on the wall at my Gyno's office so I'm thinking it's pretty accurate.  :)

LOL, yes she did stay with the guy.  They are now married.  It is sad because the partial reason why she worked on the relationship was because she thought no one would want her afterwards.  Also her DH, still doesnt have genital herpes!  And she doesnt have to many outbreaks now!  SO I dont know if since it is a different strain it reacts differently on the genitals...but we were all blown away by it.  Once she found out the strain it all made sense because her DH would get huge ones ever since he was a child...however he didnt have one when she got them!?!?  But I think they are most contagious at there beginning stages!

Yeah is is possible to get pregnant without having sex...Yeah it is harder, but still possible.  Even if a guy has semen on his hands and insert them into a vagina, you can get pregnant.  So I think it is good in Sex Ed class they teach kids that...hopefully it will be one less teen coming to this site saying "I didn't know you can get pregnant without having sex....they never taught me that!"
And yes you can get herpes on your genitals from someone who has cold sores...Yes it is a different strain, but it can still get down there.  I have a friend who this happened too and she was so upset with her bf for not tell her he had herpes...which is technically doesnt have the STD form...but he does get cold sores!

We were just talking about getting pregnant without having sex in "general" in the last few posts.

But they were "humping" with panties, and PJ bottoms on, he only had "PRE"-C U M he did not spooge all over her vagina... that is the difference.  I agree with you Kim, there is no way she could be pregnant.

moonlit is right...my sister-in-law was in the same situation and my cousin too. with my s-i-l she just wasn't in the mood to have sex and let her husband pleasure himself and he came on her vagina and she got pregnant. with my cousin she too had just given birth and went for a check-up and found out she was pregnant again.

IT IS POSSIBLE! There are people who are 'proof', but it is HIGHLY unlikely when there is a barrier, like clothes.

Well I have an aunt that was in the hospital because she just gave birth, and her husband ejaculated on her vagina cause who wants to have sex after they just gave birth right? and she went back for her 6 week check up and the doctor told her she was six weeks pregnant. So it can happen. Small chance but its still a chance.

I dont understand why schools would be so stupid as to teach kids that.  I guess MAYBE it COULD happen but how many people do you hear walking around pregnant that are like "yeah my boyfriend was humping my leg and came and I guess the sperm must have gotten in my vagina cuz now im pregnant.. darn" ?? Umm so far I haven't heard anything like that happening.  LOL so I would have to say I agree with Kim.  Insert penis into vagina if you want to become pregnant, Dont hump eachother when one of you is wearing clothes.  Im sure OP isn't trying to get his gf pregnant, but yeah.. Health teachers need to teach kids right.. This is probably why every post in the pregnancy 20 and under forum is "am I pregnant"  Darn health teachers.

i asked my mom this yesterday, and apparently she's found the printed material my sister brought home, and it DOES say that if semen gets around the vaginal area, a pregnancy can occur.....talk about misleading.....i never learned that either.....my mom thought it was funny, and apparently she re-educated my sister about that.....the hand out on std's even goes so far as to say that cold sores can often be called an std, as they are considered a string of herpes.....it didnt explain that the average cold sore is an entirely different string/type of herpes.....my mom is actually (and surprisingly), very upset, that they are teaching things that have what? a less than 2% chnace of occuring? and my brother who is 9 gets cold sores often, and my moms point was when he hits middle school, his friends will think he has herpes of an std nature, b/c the school is pretty much saying that.....apparently she and my sis's friends parents have scheduled n appt with the superintendent about the sex ed classes.....

depending on OP's age, remember, nowadays they teach in school, that sperm getting on that "area" can cause pregnancy....what they don't tell these kids is the less than probable chances of it!

i say this because, my 13 y/o sister asked me this question, with nearly the same scenario...."so if you're half naked and messing around, and pre*** or semen gets on "it', can a girl get pregnant?"   needless to say, thinking she was being a smart*** i laughed, then i realized how serious she was....apparently in her sex ed class, they teach that you CAN get pregnant this way!!!!!
(which is what is REALLY REALLY making me want to go teach sex ed!!! they're only goal now is to terrify them or promote only abstinence, not give them adequate info!)

Actually, no you don't have to have sex to get pregnant and not all birth control is 100% effective but since she did have clothes on its a one in a billion kind of thing. So I dont see any reason why you should worry about it. :)
