Delayed period after taking postinor 2

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 17th April I was ovulating, immediately after I took the first postinor pill and after 12hours I took the second pill, my period is due on 2nd of May but up till now no signs cause I usually get signs a few days before it comes. Is it possible that the contraceptive pills failed?
Pls help me.

Yes, these pills can cause your period to come early, late or you might miss it completely this month.
If you don't start in a couple of days you should take a pregnancy test.
You really can't go by an ovulation tracker on your phone or computer because not all women ovulate in the middle of their cycles. The only way to know for sure when you're fertile is to use an ovulation kit for several months.
Since you and your boyfriend are having sex I recommend you see your Dr or a women's clinic to get on birth control. There's no reason to have an unplanned pregnancy when you can gets condoms for free and other forms of birth control for free depending on your income. If you're not working then you have no income and would be eligible for free birth control.
I'm sorry if I sound like I'm preaching. I've just seen so many young women on here that were not ready to get pregnant but would still have sex without protection.
If I can be of any more help please let me know. Try not to stress because that can cause your period to be late. And remember that the pills can cause your period to be late.
