Morning After Pill

Awkward Warning!! My boyfriend and I were having (protected) sex, when he finished, he went to pull out. The condom came off in me with all the fluids still in it, it was in me for a good 8 minutes. This was 10-12 days after my ovulation. I took the morning after pill within 24 hours. My period is due this week (fingers crossed), is there a possibility I could be pregnant. If it helps I'm 16 . Xx

First off, let me say that I'm proud of you for using protection. Many girls don't even though you can buy them most any where.
Not all women ovulate at the same time. The only way to know for sure is to use an ovulation kit for several months. I'm telling you this so you won't think you have a "safe" time during the month and not use any protection.
The morning after pill is pretty effective if taken within 72 hours. The sooner the better. You took it within 24 hours so that's really good. It can come with some side effects like nausea, vomiting, cramps, an early period, late period or a missed period. If you happen to miss your next period try not to stress because stress can make it late, and so can the pills. Take a pregnancy test if you do miss your period. Since you did take the pills within 24 hours you should be just fine. Of course there is a very, very small chance of pregnancy and that's why I said to take a test if you're late. You may want to think about getting on birth control. You can see a Gynecologist or go to a women's clinic. The clinic will give you free condoms any time you need them and other forms of birth control for free depending on your income.
