unprotected sex during ovulation. on birth control?

okay so my last period was on june 10th.. and i ovulated between the 18th and the 23rd. i have been on birth control for close to 4 years now. i missed a pill on the tuesday of my first week, but took it as soon as i remembered the next day with the pill for that day also. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex on the 19th, and i used my birth control as an emergency contraceptive. we did so again the next night. i'm worried that i may have gotten pregnant due to the missed pill the week before? i don't know if i'm being paranoid or not and i'd really appreciate some help?

you should NOT use your birth control as ec though. i guess it can be used as ec if your having unprotected sex. its not the same thing as ec pill. do you know how many pills you would have to take to come close to the amount of hormones.

im not saying that was stupid. you are relying only on birth control when your not taking them right...even if you do take them right they are not 100% and by your not using condoms with that...your risking getting pregnant

your on birth control so should have a regular cycle...that means you wouldnt have gotten your period on the 10th then ovulated 8 days later

ovulation would have happened around Wednesday, June 24, 2009

how did you use your birth control as a emergency contraceptive if you use it regularly?

you had unprotected sex....got so worried you had to "used my birth control as an emergency contraceptive" and then HAD SEX AGAIN? WHY?

your not being paranoid your missing pills and relying on birth control that is not 100% and plenty of women have gotten pregnant while on the pill.

if you dont want to be pregnant you need to use condoms and you should understand how birth control works and understand that you dont take your birth control that your using as EC pill thats not what its for nor will it be effective and also if your taking a bunch of pills or whatever it is your doing.....your clearly taking a pill or more from somewhere they would be needed later
