I do have this!

I have been haveing this dislocation feeling for years now...my jaw pops and hurts to chew...I never knew what it was. Then I read this forum! Im excited to be diagnosed but at the same time, How does thsi happen? It started with poping and stuff and now its where my jaw locks shut!! I cant pen my mouth! I get really scared and its very painful..Sugerey? I dont think that therapy would help..what are my options?

Hi Rachel
Had numerous surgeries and eventually had TMJ replacements.  Have now been pain free for at least five years.  See a TMJ Specialist and you will be fine.

Seeing a tmj specilist to have occlusal therapy is advised.
