Sharp snap when cracking jaw a while ago?

So for a while now I've been able to kinda crack my jaw a little (both of them) and I was cracking my left jaw recently and when I did it I felt a sharp snap. It felt like a vein or something around the left side of my head from my jaw to my temple. Nothing really happened following that (it had happened once before) but I recently noticed that sometimes when I sit I feel a mild headache around my temple where the vein-snap like feeling happened. Should I be concerned/is this something serious?

I see it has been a couple of months since you posted and i'm wondering how things are.  It kind of sounds like your disc slipped out of place. I woulnd't crack my jaw, too many bad things can happen.
