I know everyone has been waiting
and wondering when the gossipy stuff is going to start so I will be the first.
I'm really confused by sstacey's posts lately. First she gets pregnant (after a tubal years ago) and miscarries.
Now a "friend" abandons a baby and she is going to adopt it. This just seems strange to me that all this is happening when she so desperately wants another baby.
Any opinions on this?

Wow, I'm not on for a few days and I miss everything. Is she still on medhelp?
im sure it was removed due to a post i put up regarding a simular story from her town. i wasnt trying to say it was her, but that the parents were going to be charged and i felt it was the right thing for this couple as well. 4 kids, drug problems, and ditching a baby somewhere that we never knew where it was. it is a sick story if you ask me..... glad its gone.

I hope that, if there *is* a real baby, Stacey at least grasps from all the comments that she can't just keep him for 18 years and then let him go. My concern is that because she has baby fever so badly, she has been thinking of doing this, all under the table (it would astonish me if anyone really called the police or Children's Protective Services). At this moment if the police come she can always say she is just babysitting while her friend is away. But what does she say in a year? She would probably get her own butt hauled off to court at least.

I just went and reread that whole post, and no, it makes no sense. We see alot of this at work....children being removed from parental custody, child abandonment, etc. It's certainly not what I specialize in, but I do know a bit about it just from being exposed to it. First off, even if the birth parent requests a child be left with another family or adult, there is still a background check to be done. Social Services would never, ever, leave a child with a registered sex offender. It just wouldn't happen. So unless the laws are completely different from Canada to the States, which I highly doubt, there is very little chance her story is true. Secondly, she is not a relative, or an authorized foster parent. If the police and child welfare were called, more then likely the child would have been placed in a foster home and she could apply for temporary custody. Thirdly, the police would never ever make that decision...only child welfare could. At least that's the way it works here. She's a nutjob.
LOL!!! it is all just too funny.... she is a whack job, and I hope the entire story is made up and there is no little boy.... that is the only thing that scares me! if it is god forbid true.

So, tell, perty, when you said the phrase "jesus people" in your post, did you mean it in exasperation, (such as "Jesu, people! Get your heads out of your butts!") or were you really calling them "Jesus people," (as in "flower children" or "Bible thumper")? The zip code gal (91010 or whatever the number is) certainly took it as though you were calling her a Bible thumper. (I thought you were merely being blasphemous. LOL)
mslkpage, thanks for the clarification on the hubby's status and why the police might let the baby stay where it is. The guy surely wouldn't bear scrutiny on an official adoption, the background check would find it, so if this story is (in any way) correct as she tells it, she would obviously be leery about doing the obvious thing, which would be to try to adopt the baby. Also, they probably don't have much money.
My guess is, with not much else to go on besides some pm's and what we're seeing in her posts, she's lonely, has limited prospects, is entirely obsessed with having another baby, and now something has happened in her life with her friend's baby -- possibly she urged her friend to hand over the baby to her but doesn't want to admit it on the site. (It's more righteous if the baby was dumped, and it does sound like the baby was at least emotionally dumped.) But who knows. At least she did not make up a dramatic tale about a family member who left her with (was it three?) kids for a few days and then the couple took a multi-state road trip and got in a car crash and both adults died. THAT girl had us all going for days.

that other 91whatever person is making me crazy as well!! they say we dont know the whole story, well if we dont how can we make a proper decision on what to do, she did say all to answer right? lol
I don't understand why a neighbor would find the little guy abandoned and not call the proper authorities? I can't imagine anyone not calling the police and/or social services. Even if the neighbor knew the mothers friends, I can't imagine that being the first phone call.....this sstaceyy sounds a bit off to me.
There's a slim chance that could happen (police leaving the baby there). If her dh isn't under parole or probation, there's nothing criminal about leaving the child there. BUT, the police would have notified C/FPS and they would likely be the ones to determine if the baby stayed with goofball and her dh. Now, if the police didn't do a quick check on her dh and if CPS had to make a hasty decision and they didn't check either, then his status as a SO would just be hush hush until someone finally takes a looksee and figures it out. Scary, but things like that do happen sometimes especially if the perp has a family and appears to be a normal guy.

Sstaceyy's stuff does not add up lately at all. I in fact did a TinEye search on the photo of the child, to be sure it wasn't lifted from someone else's stuff or God forbid, from an Amber Alert in Idaho. She says the police were notified and they let her family keep the baby temporarily; why would the police do that if her husband has a felony sex offense on his record? Especially sexual battery of a minor? It's really not holding together to me.

well been ttc for 5 months or so. maybe this month will be it? i dont know, whatever happens happens, we are so busy with so many things right now. my 11 yr old ds is involved in so much. i dont know why i thought he was that much older than addy. heck i call the kids by the others name so what do i know? lol

People lying about having miscarriages is one of my hot buttons. It really really upsets me a great deal. Going to go look again.
