Hello I would like some input with my latest results. I was diagnosed with early hyperthyroidism (graves) in July.
Myself and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for over a year unsuccesfully. I have been taking various amounts of PTU as directed by my Endo and he says I am now at good levels for pregnancy.
              RANGE      JULY    OCTOBER
TSH       0.5-4.0        0.02     0.22
Free T4  10-25           12       11
Free T3  3.1-5.4         6.5       5.3
My T 4 levels are on the low end of the range is this ok ? I read everywhere they should be on the higher end for pregnancy.  Is it possible to raise just the T4 and not the T3?

Goal for pregnancy is usually high normal Free T4.  The TSH may be slow to rise in the initial months after treatment for Graves.  The key is to follow levels very closely now and during pregnancy and use minimal antithyroid drug dose (current recommendation is to change to methimazole after first trimester).
