First I would recommend retesting the thyroid levels. Tirosint has only levothyroxine, gelatin, glycerin and water. It is unlikely to have an allergy to this but not impossible. We prefer the synthetic products over Armour Thyroid and do not use compounded or desiccated animal thyroid in our patients.
Oh thank God, it isn't just me. I thought I was losing my mind. Ant ideas as to what caused all of your reactions? I use to be able to eat regular foods til Noveber, then everything started causing terrible rashes.I went to two different allergists who told me I wasn't allergic, but everything still makes me sick. I even had rice last night, and that biurned my face and tongue. My tongue stays hot and burning, it stopped for a while after my TT, but then it came back. My family physician is useless, and I don't have an appt. with my Endo til the 19th. And that's the same one who couldn't even diagnose Hashimoto's. So I'm supposed to have confidence in that they're going to help me with this. Having my TSH tests done tomorrow but won't get the results til the 19th. This is a terrible waiting game, and constant worry that whatever they prescribe will make me sicker with my throat and mouth instead of better. I wish I knew what caused it all. Luckily my cancer was encapsulated and not spread but the histamine inflammation in it was bad. But nobody offered me any explanation.
i also have histamine, salicylate, MSG and nitrates intolerances. plus i'm allergic to all the fillers that are in medications.
i discovered that i was allergic to pork when i went on nature-throid [which is armour without the fillers].
hope that helps.
annie!
