Confused about my recent and past thyroid results

Last August,2012,  my level was 2.57 and as of 11-19-13 it's 4.09. I understand it's normal and not normal from research I've done. Thyroid problems run in my family. I'm not satisfied with the results. I don't understand why it jumped. I'm assuming it will keep jumping?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
May be hashimoto's with borderline high TSH that may or may not need treatment.  2.57 to 4.09 suggests and upward trend but sometimes levels go back down on their own -- would discuss with an endocrinologist or your primary doc.
