ultrasound results : worried, what do they mean?

My ultrasound results showed that 2 of the 3 complex cysts are seen to contain multiple thin septations and the septations have dotted microcalcifications. there was no cervical adenopathy. does that indicate  benign or a malignant cysts? ? ? how serious is the microcalssifications? ? ?

Thank you for your reply, my consultant is adament on me having surgery, he gave me no other option, my Cysts was quite big and noticable but since having the biopsy it has gne down, and the biggest measured at 1.4cm now. should i get my second opinon from a different consultant? ? ?

the fna result sounds like a benign cyst
would consider sending the slides for an expert second opinion to confirm.
If these nodules are not causing symptoms and are benign, would observe without surgery

Thank you. my consultant wants to do a thyroid lobectomy of the right side in 2 weeks time. Is this the best way forward ? ? ? your opinion is much appreciated.

My FNA biopsy results have come back, Diagnosis: FNA OF THYROID - THY 2.
The results mentions a right thyroid cysts ?neoplastic.
Bloodstaing - mild
Cellularity - poor - a small number of thyroid follicle cells are present
Preservation of the cells - good
Colloid - abundant
Cysts contents including foamy and haemosiderin laden macrophages are present.
Not sure what it all means? ? ?

FNA biopsy is needed to determine this.  Microcalcifications are suspicious, but FNA biopsy is the best test to figure out if this is cancer or benign complex cysts.
