Thyroglobulin level rose to a 24, years after thyroid removal and I131

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2003, under went surgery & I131 radiation.  2 years of full body scans showed no thyroid tissue & every year since, all blood work has been great.  Two weeks ago, my annual blood work came back with my Thyroglobulin level at 24.  I'm very worried about my cancer returning.  My doctor ordered a re-test.  He knew I was concerned so ordered a full scan. However, my insurance is changing & I won't have coverage for about 4 weeks.
