Triathlete, had my thyroid removed 45 days ago. Can I return to my trainning again?

Hi! I had my thyroid removed 45 days ago. I was trainning for triathlon and I would like to start trainning again. My trainner is afraid I might have some heart problems because I had my thyroid removed, eventhough my endocrinologist allow me to get back to my normal life. Is there any athlete here in this Community who went through  a complete thyroid removal? does this affects his endurance? should I see a cardiologist? Thanks!!!

If your Endo cleared you then thats all your trainer needs and only you know if your feeling off to stop what ever activity your doing.  I would think recovery days would be in order .

Good luck I'm jealous you can keep on going after thyroidectomy :)
