Adrenal glands

I have read alot that thyroid disease can really be caused by a problem with adrenal glands, have asked my doctor this he said rubbish what had I been reading.
I have read this a few places.

Anyone know how I would know if my thyroid disease is caused my adrenal gland problem.
What symptoms woudl I have & how could I help or prevent it getting worse myself.

I get a lot of panic attacks since having thyroid disease. The slightest little fear of excited  (that would normally never affect me) cause a panic attack...its so weird.
My theory is I am producing too much adrenaline when I dont really need to.
My GP says panic attacks happen with thyroid disease & will go when thyroid back to normal.

Please as much as advice as you have would be great
Thanking you in advance

i never had problems before thyroid either.  I fought taking antidepressants/anxiety meds for a few years, but glad i broke down and now am taking the anxiety meds. because it has saved family and friendships. right now anxiety meds. are my security blanket and one day I'll be secure enough to stop them.  Its not forever.

you will be ok with them.

Good luck.

adrenal symptom are very closely to the same as thyroid symptoms.

you would need to have adrenals tested to rule out the symptoms between adrenal and thyroid.

panic attacks are associated to thyroid and many have it and experience the attacks.

suggest to go on antidepressants or anxiety meds, until you get through this stage of thyroid and your levels are normal and stable.  I am on anxiety meds. myself.
