Any other advicer????Input?

Do you think it would hurt me to take my levothroid though?  I have so many symptoms... Cold , dry skin, Major memory loss, weight gain, tired and lethargic.  The dr. had me on it before then another dr. said Ill need it later but not now.  SO i stopped taking it.. Now all these symptoms have happened.  I am very active.. Work out faithfully.  3 miles on the treadmiill 6x a week.. I still gain weight.  My hair is thin, brittle and falls out.
What exactly does 6500tpo ab mean anyways.. He said I would be hypo later.. just dont know how soon!  would it  be so wrong to use the levothroid again?   what do you think? So is TSH 0.41 Normal?   Is TPO AB  6500high?  what is the cause..
Thanks for your advice.

TSH      .041
TPO AB    6500

I agree with all of the above.
You should consider the selenium and you should ask for a TSI test.

It might be thyroiditis, but you should check for TSI antibodies, and do the TSH and Free T4 again.

The antibodies are high because your body sees your thyroid as foreign.

You are making antibodies against your thyroid, potentially decreasing it's function.

The TSH of .41 is normal. It is on the low side, though. You may ask the doctor to order a TSI test (thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin). It is a marker for Grave's Disease if the number is too high. If it is high, you could become hyperthyroid.

The thyroid hormone medicine will not reduce level of TPO AB; about 10 years ago the dose of 200 microgram of selenium was tried to reduce the level of TPO AB. For some patients it was successful, some forum members however stated that for them, unfortunately, there was no improvement. Doctors may still recommend the selenium supplementation; for such high AB level, it worth the trial but the doctor and you must make this decision.
