You're not dying, you don't have MS and you're not reacting to the medication.
There's a peripheral neuropathy (burning, tingling, numbness) that can be caused by hypothyroidism. Apparently, your thyroid levels are not good for you, even though they may be "in range", or you wouldn't have this.
When you get your current lab results, please post them, so we can see what your levels are and where they fall in the ranges. Hopefully, you're getting tested for Free T3 and Free T4, along with TSH. Will look forward to seeing those lab results.
dgmootry --- you had a very common thing called Restless Leg Syndrome, also caused by being hypo. I had it, too, for quite some time until my thyroid levels evened out and I began to feel well. I'm on Tirosint, which is levothyroxine.
Hey, just want you to know your not the only one with weird reaction to the medication. I too was on levothyroxine, and then levoxyl, I too had twitching in my legs, i would go to bed and my leg would move constantly, and then some nights I would have one leg very warm to the point it was real red and the other leg would be cool to touch. And i also had weird feelings like when i would go into our living room and it would look and feel unreal, needles to say, i didn't take anymore and I asked to be put on Armour and i'm doing great, no weird things going on (knock on wood) you might be reacting to the binders and fillers in the levothyroxine, Good luck, and don't worry yourself needlessly,
