I had a bad time with it and it is directly linked to the abundance of fillers each lab can use.
Most are the cellulose issues with people that found with the New Armour made was bad too. I can't wrap my head around the fact that since cellulose was added in more with New Armour - and people were getting horrbily sick from that - then why would patients want to try compound RX's with the same darn stuff in it and think it would be OK?
I found that this compounding of meds and the possibilities are endless with fillers. They don't HAVE to have cellulose in them which opens endless possibilities up using compound meds.
Many found that when trying compound if cellulose was eliminated and things like ginger, olive oil or even acidophillus ( GREAT filler anyway for anyone HYPO with GI isses- MOST) were the binding component - they did much better on that too.
in short - its the fillers that are bugging you and you can talk to the compound pharmacy that is filling your script. They should be able to help you.
There has been a shortage of the Armour brand since August. Nearly impossible now. Many here used to use it.
The brand Nature Throid (spelled like that), you can google thier site, should be available soon. In the meantime past Armour patients are depending on compounding pharmacies, Nature -Throid if they can find it, synthetic combination of T3 cytomel and T4 synthroid, or getting Canadian ERFA Thyroid from online Canadian pharmacies.
