Can Hypothyroid cause frogs?

I was diagnosed years ago with hypothyroid and over the years I have had to increase my dosage of medication.  I'm feeling great as far as that goes.  But I have also, for years, had an increasingly severe problem with frogs in my throat which are as impossible to move as a Jersey barrier!  I never connected thyroid with frogs until I started to doing web searches.  I have been on all sorts of allergey medications; pills, inhalers, sprays.......nothing does anything except make my mouth so dry I can't sing.  My doctor (and the specialists) I go to can't seem to help.  Some think I'm just a chronic complainer.  But this is a serious professional issue to me.  Could there be a connection between thyroid disease and frogs?  I see a so many other complaints about unmovable frogs on blogs on the web; all from people who have gone to doctors for help and doctors could not find a cure.

Every time I pick up the phone  I have to explain that "I have a frog in my throat, and I hope I don't croak!"  It's got to the point that I feel I am going to choke on the mucus that comes up, but my Dr. is no help--just this week, when I asked what could be causing it, she shrugged her shoulders and said "that's life"!

I have heard of a frog in your throat so don't feel all alone (ha ha).  I too have that feeling in my throat.  I had a TT about 2 weeks ago and still have some swelling in my neck so I just thought it was from that.  Hopefully that'll go away and I won't have to deal with any more.  By the way, I also live in the south, maybe that's why I can relate to the frog.

If it has something to do with what AR is saying and what I asked - this may sound crazy but luke warm water and fresh lemon 6 to 8 times a day is good.

Oh my--I have huge frogs too.  I squeak a lot to try to get them to go away.  I had grumbling like a man to clear my throat.  People pick on me about the sqeaks, but they are a lot more charming than:

I can't even imitate those sounds phonetically.

I get them worse when I'm a little anxietic--like when I have to talk on the phone.

I feel like Frasier:)
