Face/Neck pressure

Not sure if this is a thyroid related question or not. For several months now, when I bend over, my head gets very thick and stuffy and feels like the blood is pooling there. Veins stand out in my neck and forehead. If I get down on the ground to search for something under a buffet table or something like that (my cats love to hide my keys) the pressure is unbearable. When I right myself, it takes a second but most of the pressure and pain go away. Lately I've been having this feeling at more and more. I can't lay flat on the ground on my back or in bed--I have to sleep on my side. I thought maybe it was sinus pressure, but my nose is mostly clear and I'm not getting any infected looking discharge. I had been having trouble with acid reflux, but I've taken steps to calm that down. Could the reflux (LPRD) be related to the head pressure/pain? I am 26, have never had any serious health issues and I'm told my blood pressure is on the low side. My face and neck have been feeling a little hot recently too--something's not quite right. Variable hotness, it comes and goes very quickly. I've also had a variable ringing in my ears for a couple months too. What is going on?! Is this a blood pressure related thing, a heart related thing, a reflux related thing, a diet related thing? I have been very frustrated about this and somewhat worried too. I appreciate any help or steps to take to get rid of the problem. Does this sound like a thyroid issue? I haven't gained any weight, but I do have generalized aches and pains that last for quite some time. Also I have trouble with fatigue (but what college kid doesn't?) and temperature intolerance. Could it have been a misdiagnosis on the acid reflux? Sometimes I feel like there's a lump in my throat, particularly when I stretch to look straight up, but that's a symptom of both. I could use some advice.

Went to the ENT recently. No thyroid problem. Slightly low blood pressure 110/68. Negative pressure in ears, he really didn't know what was wrong with me but wanted to throw drugs (including steroids) at the problems anyway. Borderline criminal if you ask me. I'm switching to holistic medicine and a chiropractor instead.

It might be a good move to have your blood pressure checked again, I have high BP and High Cholesterol that is brought on by my Underactive thyroid condition (Hashimoto's) , When your BP is low, you tend to get dizzy upon standing, although I would get dizzy and flushed when standing to fast with high blood pressure, but you are saying you feel pressure in your face, that could be a sinus problem (Fluid) or maybe a sinus infection or allergies, (Just a Guess) The only way to be sure is to have a blood work-up done to find out about a thyroid problem, some of your symtoms do come on with thyroid, I would see an md and get a check up. Good Luck FTB4
