Good Thyroid Doctor/Endocrinologist in Wisconsin?

Looking for a good thyroid doctor or Endocrinologist in Wisconsin...preferably near Madison area or Milwaukee area...who will order full thyroid labs.  PLEASE HELP!!!

I'd discovered thyroid issues run in my family and that 2 relatives have Hashimoto's disease.  I have shown many symptoms of some sort of thyroid problem...BUT my doctor will not order full thyroid labs (T3, T4, etc.)  She has only tested for TSH and isn't convinced that there is a problem.

Thank you!

Hi gimel! I don't see the message but I found a good doc that I wanted to pass on :-) Deborah Wubben at Meriter clinic on west Washington ave in Madison. Goes by how you feel rather just on labs. Also open to adding t3 meds or trying armour :-)  I also thought a good tip I heard was to go to your pharmacist and ask what docs are writing prescriptions for  armour!

OMG  An Endo that will treat clinically and also prescribe T3 meds!!!!!!!!!!  That is so unusual that you may have members moving to Madison.  LOL

Thanks very much.

Yes, we ask frequently ask pharmacists about doctors that prescribe T3 type meds.  That is a good clue that the doctor may be the type we all look for.
