Hashi’s and covid-19?

Has anyone heard anything on hashimotos and covid 19 severity? It would seem maybe hashimotos would leave us open to more sever symptoms since autoimmmune disease might make an exaggerated immune response to covid (cytokines storm) which is what kills people.

Barb? Gimel? Anyone else ?

From what I've read, there are only a few autoimmune conditions that make COVID more dangerous.  I read an article the other day that said Hashimoto's does not make us more susceptible to COVID, nor would we have a more severe  case.

My advice is to mask up, make sure you maintain social distancing and get vaccinated as soon as you can.  Hashimoto's won't allow you to get vaccinated ahead of others.
