The surprise to me is that I love dough/bread and show none of the side affect of Celiac. So until the genetis result comes back I'm avoiding Glutens. I had no antitrans-glutaminase markers. The only indication to date is my 50yo sister who may have Celiac as her Ru Arthritis points to it. (her genetics,anti-gliadin,antitrans-glutaminase are positive(high) , she wants to be positive and was told only if she get a intestine sample is it 100% confirm. Her nutritionlist says avoid glutens for life and not to go on agluten diet to prove the test.
Bard135 for T3 normal range 5800-15900 ng/dL and T4 rnormal range 6.09-1223 ug/dL
ultrasound there was nothing out of the ordinary.
Urine Toxicity test shows above average Hg mercury 7.2 ug/g range <3 (fish and fillings)
I'm still confused that my TPO and TSH went up so fast (5months). And just by luck they where checked at my 40yo exam and 5months later at my complete medical diagnostic at Sanoviv. I had never been tested before
Is it normal to jump that quick?
Thyroid effects your cholesterol big time. Mine went from ratio 0.5 to 1.5 in 30 days.
Luckily my Dr. will not address the cholesterol until my thyroid is stable on meds (levo).
I have struggled with an extra 15-20 lbs. my whole life. I also have issues with acid reflux for as long as I can remember. I discovered bread or anything whole wheat is the killer for me.
I avoid cereal with wheat, no bread with dinner, no croutons on my salad, etc. If I add some sugar and fat to the wheat, I'm sick and miserable. Donuts and cinnamon rolls are out of the question. I've never been tested for Celiac. It just seems easier to avoid the wheat.
Your TSH is definitely high ----- what are the ranges for the Free T4 and Free T3? Different labs use different ranges, so without the ranges, it's impossible to comment on them. Thyroid issues can cause cholesterol to be too high......mine was out of sight until I started getting stabilized on meds, then it came back down to normal range.
The TPOab at 82, indicates Hashimoto's Thyroiditis....Have you had an ultra sound or anything?
