Hypothyroid-tsh149

I am pre diabetic, have high blood pressure (6 weeks ago blood pressure was 219/176), a vitamin d and b12 deficiency as well as a zinc deficiency and my tsh level was 149.  In addition I started taking a new medication that  had side effects for me of swollen feet and weakness.  I have not worked since because I could not stand for more than twenty minutes before collapsing.  I have had MRI's on my back, neck and brain, an emg, and several lab tests.  They ruled out MS.  I have stopped taking the new medication but the doctor said nothing about these t4 and t3 levels.  I have the lab results.  How would they read on the lab report?  What would I look for exactly?  The neurologist who ordered the labs said I was diabetic and needed to go to my primary immediately.  He upped my dose of synthroid to 150, gave me vitamin D pills along with the list of vitamins from the neurologist and said to come back in 2 months.  He didn't even talk to me about diet and he said I wa pre- pre diabetic and possibly insulin resistant.  My number for that was 6.4 if that means anything.  I need to go back to work.  Is the doctor doing all that he can to help me?
Also I have had a mass in my throat for 2 years that sometimes hurts so much I cannot even swallow saliva without excrutiating pain that goes up to my ear or drink liquids or talk without having to stop and let the wave of pain pass before I can continue talking.  My sister had thyroid cance and the doctors have been very slow with that referral and don't seem to worry about it like I should go to the doctor when the pain gets to be too much.  Should I be worried?  To add to everything a lump on my jaw the size of a golfball just popped up.  It starts deep in the gums under a molar that is broken and extends to the bottom of my jaw.  The tooth itself does not hurt.  I have been referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist. for the mass and have an appointment for next week.  Is that the right doctor?
The lump on the jaw just popped up.  Should I go to my primary doctor or just wait until next week and talk to the ENT doctor?  Thank you for any help and I apologize for too many questions.

Hi, I'm sorry we missed your questions yesterday; I hope you're still checking in to look for a response...

If you have results for T4 and T3, please post them, along their reference ranges.  If you have the lab report, those will be listed as either T3 and T4, Total T3 and Total T4 or Free T3 and Free T4.

You said your diabetes number is 6.4 - is that the A1c result?  If so, that's really bordering on diabetes and you need to get things under control immediately or you'll be classified as diabetic... please confirm that's the A1c result - it should say on your lab report.

The lump on your jaw could be related to the broken molar, whether the tooth hurts or not.  Why were you referred to an ENT?   It sounds like you need a dentist.

You're probably going to need an endocrinologist, so if you need referrals, you might want to get one, as it can take anywhere from several weeks to several months to get in to see a good endo.

As long as you have the appointment with the ENT next week, I'd keep it; my ENT has been one of my best thyroid advocates.
