Low Free t4, low normal TSH. Help?

Hello. I am a 24 year old male being treated for a Neuroendocrine Tumor with Octreotide injections. The last few months my hair has become coarse, Ive found myself slurring my words, hoarse voice, I am cold a lot (my friends joke I have corpse hands), and I've been feeling slightly emotional and depressed. I also have an unexplained iron deficiency with ferritin at 3.5.
Blood work showed a Free t4 level low at 0.57 and a TSH of 0.77. Also had a high LDL cholesterol of 109. Does the Free t4 indicate a thyroid problem? I seem to be having some symptoms and Ive heard octreotide can affect TSH production, though my doctor isn't famaliar with this side effect to much.

Hypothyroidism is a listed possible side effect of Octreotide.

Would the low Free T4 indicate that?
Yes low free T4 and your symptoms indicate hypothyroidism.

"Because native somatostatin suppresses thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) secretion, it is not surprising that octreotide also blocks TRH-induced release of TSH." - Science Direct

This explains why your TSH hasn't risen in response to low free T4 levels.
