Low body temp

I'm now taking 120mg of Armour, but still have a low body temp. I'm also treating my adrenals. Can your thyroid be o.k., but still have a low body temp?

Hey Stella! I'm taking the Iodoral tablets. They're what my Dr. recommended.

have the loading test done first and then discuss those results in depth with your iodine treating physician.

What tablets are you taking for iodine supps?

Thanks, TamraW! I do take iodine, 2 1/2tablets, but maybe I should increase. I go back to my hormone Dr. next Monday, and I will ask her. I know when I put iodine on my arm, it doesn't last 24hrs. I think it should last 24hrs.

Yes, that is common. Talk to your doctor about iodine treatment. I belong to an iodine group on Facebook. Those users claim to have higher body temps.  Generally people who take iodine end up using less thyroid meds.

Here's an interesting podcast from Dr. John Lowe about iodine treatment.
