Thank you both for your advice. I might have to find a new endo. He only wants to order the tsh and free t4. I am so glad I found this forum or I might be suffering longer than I should. I have the kind of body that can't handle synthetic hormones. I remember being on every birth control pill and feeling terrible. I think I have alot in common with you two. Thanks again.
I agree with Stella. Your T3 level has room for improvement as does your other levels.
Kind of hard to tell if you are having a conversion problem without your TSH being at an optimal level. Also.....if you have Hashi's, your tsh should be suppressed to at least between .50-1.0 on synthroid....or if you are on Armour it will be much lower and you will look hyper at tsh level. If your dr does not keep you at a low level as my endo has suggested, he said that the patient cannot heal and will remain sick. You have to first get your doctor to get you at an optimal level, or find another doctor. If he doesn't understand hashi's or the thyroid for that matter, then you really need to find someone who specializes in thyroid. Having hashi's can be an easy road or a long difficult one as mine has been. I wasted 2 yrs on an endo who undertreated me and got much sicker. Now I have great drs, and they understand hashi's. So don't waste time on not getting proper treatment.....demand it.
Your doctor should have no problem trying you out on Armour. Hopefully he supports prescribing it.
Looks to me that you are having some issues with your levels. There is no stability in them - so maybe a trail run would be helpful.
