adrenal suppelment

Does anyone know if taking a supplement for your adrenal is good? I was told today that I should take suppelments for it. Does this have to do with thyroid or not at all?

I believe it was called ADH for adrenal supplement.. I have been so exhausted my thyroid is fine checked it again in July. The chricropractor I went to also does natural stuff and all sorts of medical stuff and acupuncture. The only test she did was my blood pressure laying down and then jump up really fast and took pressure again and it dropped. I made her do it again and it was even lower. She said if I had to run for my life my gene pool would be nonexistent. yikes. but I have been reading on adrenal fatigue and it sounds like that's what I have. ugh. I don't eat well and im over worked and I think im paying for it now. help. But I think I want more tests before I take the supplement. Especially with having heart arrhythmias. I see my cardio next week. I just cant handle this exhaustion anymore.

I do agree with the previous post that eating the right type of foods is a very good approach to begin with. Eliminating simple sugars, processed foods etc. is a good start. Getting a good nights sleep is also very important.  Exercise on a regular basis has been a big help to me over the years.

adaptogenic herbs can help and I have had good success with Rhodiola Rosea.  There are others that you can try as well.

I'm not an expert but I have been researching this stuff a ton and a lot of sources say that diet and limiting stress is better than supplements. Many experts seem to believe that supplements can aggravate the adrenals even more.
